Do you treat different floor types differently?
Yes — carpet, timber, stone and vinyl each need a different approach. Carpets are typically hoovered and periodically deep-extracted; hard floors are swept, mopped and polished or resealed depending on the finish. We assess your floors first and build a plan per surface.
How often does carpet need a deep clean versus daily hoovering?
Daily or scheduled hoovering keeps surface dirt down, but a deep extraction clean every 6–12 months lifts ground-in soil and extends the carpet's life — more often in high-traffic areas like entrances and corridors.
Can you remove stains or restore worn patches without replacing the flooring?
In most cases, yes. Spot stain treatment, spray buffing and re-polishing can bring worn or marked areas back without the cost of replacement — we'll tell you honestly if a floor is beyond that and needs replacing instead.
Will floor treatments cause downtime or closed-off areas?
Some treatments — like stripping and resealing hard floors — need drying time, so we schedule these overnight or over a weekend where possible. Routine cleaning and carpet extraction usually don't require any area to be closed off.
